tiisa®-coated houses achieved up to 8% lower flock mortality and 5°C cooler indoor temperatures versus the uncoated control, driving measurable gains in bird weight and feed efficiency.
CP Foods operates more than 1,200 directly managed poultry farms across Thailand. Rising temperatures inside chicken houses were increasing mortality rates and reducing feed efficiency, directly affecting yield and profitability. Thermalytica applied tiisa® Superinsulation Paint to the roofs and sidewalls of two test houses, while a third was left untreated as a control. Performance was then monitored over a full 35 day grow out cycle.
The treated houses recorded indoor temperatures up to 5°C lower than the control, reducing flock mortality by up to 8% and increasing the European Efficiency Factor (EEF) by 24 points. This translated into an additional 1.9 kg of meat yield per square metre of floor area.
