OIST-Lifetime Startup Elevate is an invitation-only international conference that connects globally-oriented deep-tech startups with investors. The event is co-hosted by OIST Innovation, which serves as a hub for technology development and business, and Lifetime Ventures, a venture capital firm managing a collaboration fund with OIST. At the Sustainability Day pitch session, 14 selected startups presented their innovations in sectors contributing to global sustainability, including new energy, decarbonization, carbon capture and storage, alternative agriculture and food tech, regenerative aquaculture, and climate change adaptation technologies. Each startup delivered a seven-minute pitch that had been refined through intensive one-month collaborations with VC mentors, with presentations evaluated by a panel of prominent domestic and international investors and accelerators. Thermalytica presented TIISA®, a proprietary high-insulation aerogel material that achieves both low thermal conductivity and competitive production costs. This innovative technology enables stable transportation and storage of liquid hydrogen, contributing to the hydrogen society, while providing comprehensive thermal management solutions across diverse applications from semiconductors to housing and home appliances for energy conservation. This recognition at OIST-Lifetime Startup Elevate 2025 strengthens Thermalytica’s position in the sustainability technology sector and opens new pathways for partnerships with investors and industry leaders.
